well, it's been another long break from blogging. i crack myself up because i write the blog all the time in my head as i go about things- it just never makes it to the computer. since i've been away a bit, i'm a bit lazy with breaking this fast & thought i'd share a story i picked up on the news. some of you may have come across it already. the headline is "
MAN DRIVING MOTORIZED LAZY BOY CONVICTED OF DUI ." i can't decide which part of this is more disturbing- the DUI, the fact that he motorized the chair & drove it in traffic, the fact that he had a passenger with him when he was arrested or the fact that it had a nitrous oxide booster. the chair also had headlights & a steering wheel. here are the pix i picked up from the internet- the chair was equipped with a stereo and cup holders (DUH- why motorize a lazy boy if you're not going to have cup holders?).
the whole event occurred after the driver ran into a parked car while leaving the parking lot of the local watering hole. his BAC was .29 (that means about 30% of his blood was alcohol). danny & i are working on a top ten clues you may have an alcohol problem- this will definitely be in the top ten.....
if you're interested, the chair is being auctioned by the police department- such luxury could be yours! i do think it is a requirement that one be intoxicated if one should choose to drive this conveyance.
